The foundation of my skin.

Quite literally actually.

I drench my face, scalp, neck, chest, hands, and arms in it daily.

It serves as the perfect foundation, leaving my face radiant & luminous, imparting a flawless glow to my skin. If I’m wanting a less shiny look, or wanting more of a regular foundation vibe - I prep my skin with the oil and apply foundation lightly, over the areas desired using a beauty blender.

it’s my scalp and hair’s new best friend. My hair doesn’t go a day without a mist of water & the oile mixture. And I make sure to always oil my scalp 30+ minutes before showers (I may be lying. I may leave it in over night for extra marination.)

it’s the perfect moisturizer for my hands, legs and arms. I have the most irritable eczema on my hands that FUMES every time a lotion or soap gets near. The natural ingredients with the support of the tea tree oil soothes my eczema like nothing else in this world. I keep a bottle in my purse at all times.

Meet the brand

December 9, 2023... The day i realized not a single company out there meets all 3 of the criteria that i look for when shopping for skin care.

The first thing I check is the ingredient profile. My once harmless relationship with the Yuka app turned into a full-blown obsession, and honestly, it was discouraging. Finding products that actually scored well felt rare, when it shouldn’t be. I wanted something thoughtfully formulated, without compromise.

Salubrity

Next comes the question: Is this product coming home with me today? Some people have the privilege of skipping this step. I don’t. I’ve lived a life where price matters. Every day I watch millionaire influencers promote “affordable” products that very clearly aren’t. The beauty industry has become so expensive that we’ve normalized spending $35+ on small and simple products… most of the time just for the name.

And still (unfortunately for our wallets) we all want nice things. If given the option to choose the more luxurious experience, most of us will. Too many brands believe that if something looks expensive, it should be expensive. I think that’s bogus.

Why oil?

Why not a cream or lotion?

valid question.

Unlike traditional lotions or creams that rely heavily on water and fillers, facial oils are made to work in harmony with the skin’s natural lipid barrier. Oils help seal in moisture, rather than simply sitting on the surface, leaving skin feeling deeply nourished without heaviness. With fewer ingredients and no added water, facial oils offer a more concentrated, minimalist approach to hydration and supporting a soft, balanced complexion while avoiding the excess that can overwhelm the skin.

Facial oils create an ideal base for makeup because they help skin feel smooth, supple, and well-balanced before foundation is applied. Unlike lotions that can sit on the surface or pill under makeup, oils melt into the skin, allowing complexion products to glide on more evenly. At the same time, oils help keep skin moisturized and comfortable underneath makeup throughout the day, supporting a healthy-looking, naturally luminous finish that enhances your makeup rather than competing with it.

Healthy, natural oils have been used for centuries to care for skin from head to toe. Rich in skin-loving lipids and vitamin E, oils help support the skin’s natural barrier by sealing in moisture, helping to smooth fine lines, support elasticity, and maintain a youthful, radiant glow.

It all started how most ideas begin. At MOD Pizza eating cheesey garlic bread and procrastinating doing my college homework.

I'd been having the usual skin problems; Dry, irritable skin with the occasional acne breakouts. and i was getting tired of it. most products on the market were either super moisturizing, or acne fighting, but never both (and not to mention expensive). so i did what one does when bored and eating pizza. I started researching to make my own product.

I wanted a one-fix-all. and i was determined to make it happen.

and so i did. i curated the most perfect recipe i had ever known that solved all my skin problems. i was so proud and joyous about my creation, i thought, "i have to share this with others."

So I doodled up a logo and got to planning. I hand-made 20 sample bottles to pass out to family, friends, and co-workers. I gifted the 20 bottles in the summer of 2024, and they all loved it. They begged for more.

Fast forward to 2025, I spent the entire year planning how I could turn this into a business. I didn't want just any business. I wanted one that met every single one of my needs. I wanted it to be natural and healthy (Nothing made me happier as a consumer, than seeing something score 100 on the yuka app). I wanted it to look amazing. I've seen all the rich famous people drop beauty and skincare products that look boujee and flawless. And lastly, I wanted it to be accessible to everyone, not just wealthy people. I wanted affordability.

So here's my attempt...
